Charlotte Burrough is wonderful to work with. From the planning stages she has a confident and thorough knowledge of good food, from reliable and mostly local sources, and her menus are varied and interesting.She is equally very willing, and certainly capable, of interpreting your own ideas.

Her experience with food certainly shows when it is comes to presentation. It all looks thoroughly inviting and the finishing touch is her serene smile.

We have asked Charlotte to do lunches at home for us and have also benefited greatly at that busy time of the year, Christmas, from Charlotte’s enterprise and skill.

I will never try and do a children’s birthday party again now that I’ve seen what CB Events can do. The children loved their individual cupcakes and the little wooden spoon with their names on that you put in each of their party bags was a very sweet touch and much appreciated. To cater for young children and also their parents is a tough ask but you did without fuss and always with a smile on your face. I highly recommend Charlotte whether in your own home or at her own cosy Coach House venue. I have used CB Events on several occasions, most memorably for a special family tea for 40 when she produced a selection of beautifully presented and appetising sweet and savoury treats to take the party into the evening. This summer we had a 94th birthday lunch for 60 and CB Events contributed to making it a fabulous day for all. Charlotte effortlessly catered for all ages, tastes and to a budget, she is easy to work with, stays calm and is passionate about food and where it comes from.
